Report: How AI empowers marketers

There are more and more examples of how AI empowers marketers. A new report from Hubspot, “AI Trends for Marketers 2023”, shows that marketers can save up to 2.5 hours a day on manual tasks, such as researching, or writing content. 90% of the marketers that took part in the survey said AI is helping them save time.

The report states that marketers spend an average of five hours on operational work, e.g. research, formatting content, collecting and analyzing data. Using AI tools, marketers save up to 12.5 hours per week on these tasks. That means freeing up time for strategy, planning and creative content production.

Majority of companies already invested in AI tools

According to the report, the top four uses of AI are content creation (48%), analyzing/reporting on data (45%), learning new things (45%) and doing research (32%). If you think using AI in this way is a fringe activity, think again. 62% of business leaders state that they have already invested in AI and/or automation tools for their employees to use.

AI makes SEO planning a breeze

The report also looked at how marketers are using AI in a more creative aspect and for planning. One such area is SEO planning. It is repetitive and time-consuming as nothing else (heads are nodding). As many as 37% of the surveyed marketers state that they use AI for both SEO planning and keyword research.

Generative AI tools also empowers marketers in optimizing their website for SEO. They can also be used to improve the user experience of company websites. This helps posts get better ranking. Using AI marketers can also easier and faster create a whole SEO-driven content strategy.
